Assignment

As part of a programme management assignment, our consultants have delivered a comprehensive business case for a MVNO for a transition to a Full-MVNO operating model.

Achievements

1. ANALYSIS

  • Consolidated technical and operational requirements for transition to Full-MVNO: regulatory, RAN MNO partner, datacenters, interconnect, roaming, number portability, charging and billing.
  • Analyzed existing Light-MVNO voice and data traffic.
  • Analysed revenues and cost such as ARPU, RAN cost, interconnect and roaming costs and revenues and infrastructure CAPEX and OPEX.

2. DEVELOPMENT

  • Developed a spreadsheet model for the business case.
  • Refined infrastructure CAPEX and OPEX models by following related RFP and vendor selection, working with  colocation providers.
  • Refined other cost models by working with candidate RAN MNO partners, MNOs and OLOs and other interconnect and roaming providers.

3. OUTCOMES

  • Delivered comprehensive business case for Full-MVNO.
  • Issued technical, operational and partner selection recommandations.
