Our consultants have lead the radio design and have supported the build of multiple 4G (TD-LTE) networks in several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa for a regional carrier.
Achievements
1. DESIGN
- Provided advice on the optimal MIMO/Beamforming technology to use and inputs for vendor selection with respect to 4G radio equipment.
- Provided detailed radio network design and optimal towerco site selection for fast network build for each major city.
2. BUILD
- Configured initial radio network parameters.
- Performed initial radio site verification and initial radio network tuning with field measurements.
3. RUN
- Supported network launch and made recommandations for initial optimisation to offload traffic from hot spots.
- Benchmarked existing legacy competing networks to provide recommandations for national roaming partners.
