Assignment
Following a RFP for the procurement of a 4G private mobile network for airports (3 airports for a major European metropolitan area), our consultants have supported end-to-end architecture definition, low level design and high level design, integration and testing, ensuring cross-functional coordination with the airports technical teams, selected vendors and integration partners.
Achievements
1. DESIGN
- Defined end-to-end architecture and dimensioning for all systems (core, radio, VoLTE and Mission Critical Push-To-Talk); dimensioning based on legacy DECT, TETRA and WiFi systems.
- Supported low level design and and high level design for all systems.
- Supported the dimensioning and procurement of the HCI virtualization plaftorm.
2. BUILD
- Supported end-to-end integration an testing, all systems (staging and production).
- Performed initial integration of outdoor and indoor radio units (Ericsson radio units, BBU, IRU and DOT systems).
3. RUN
- Supported initial network launch.
- Supported service/resource management and operation across operations support and readiness, fulfillment and service assurance.
- Analysed FCAPS data to detect initial outages and assess initial system performance (core and radio via network counters and probes).
- Provided expertise to interface OSS/BSS provisioning system with OTA platform and vEPC.
- Provided expertise for various audit for OTA and vEPC (using directly REST/SOAP APIs).
