Assignment
In the course of an assignment for the design, build and run of a 4G private mobile network for airports (3 airports for a major European metropolitan area), our consultants have managed the procurement and the development of SIM cards and the specification and integration of a hosted OTA platform for the Over The Air modification of SIM cards (files and applications).
Achievements
1. DESIGN
- Defined requirements and architecture for SIM cards and OTA platform.
2. BUILD
- Wrote RFP and supported vendor selection among the industry leading suppliers.
- Managed end-to-end SIM card and OTA projects, both delivered within 6 months.
- Developed bespoke SIM card electrical profile for airports with the selected vendor.
- Performed tests for BAP cards and first lot cards (staging and production).
- Performed functional tests for the OTA platform (staging and production).
3. RUN
- Provided expertise to interface OSS/BSS provisioning system with OTA platform.
- Provided expertise for various audit for OTA (using directly REST/SOAP APIs).
